Sl4mm3r5 -- St. Louis Area Makers Modifiers Engineers and Research Scientists -- was founded in 2009 as a collective of computer enthusiasts and others that wanted to create an environment for expanding knowledge and increasing creative output. One of the founding principles behind this group was in essence “less bureaucracy and more projects”.
